Welcome to Tat2zie, a concept born from the real-life experiences of a husband-and-wife duo, Donavan and Shandell, who wanted to make tattoo sessions more comfortable for everyone involved.

As a tattoo artist, Donavan is used to working in a cool shop environment. He naturally runs hot, so keeping the shop cold helps him stay comfortable during long hours of tattooing. Shandell, on the other hand, is always cold—especially when she’s the one in the chair getting inked. With a background as a nurse, she knows firsthand how important it is to stay warm, particularly when it comes to avoiding shock during procedures like tattooing. The cold can make an already intense experience even more uncomfortable, and staying warm is crucial for both physical comfort and overall well-being.

That’s where the idea for Tat2zies came from: a solution that balances the temperature needs of both the artist and the client, ensuring that tattoo sessions are as comfortable as possible. Tat2zies is a cozy garment featuring dual two-way zippers along both sides, allowing easy access to the areas being tattooed while keeping the rest of the body warm and covered. This thoughtful design means clients like Shandell can stay warm and relaxed throughout their session without disrupting the tattoo process.
